In order to develop its presence in Sicily, we have been requested to search and select a brilliant and young Area Sales Manager – HVAC – Water Treatment (woman / man) with experience in the heating / plumbing / air conditioning market .
The Area Sales Manager, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, will have as its main objective the development of the business through the acquisition of new customers in the market. Customers may operate locally or at international level, in different segments like residential water treatment, swimming pools components, distribution of dosing technology for deterges and chemical products. They may work in contact with regional and national wholesalers, DIY retailers, industries. Thanks to the wide product portfolio of the Company, the potential business approached by the candidate will be of extremely high value and importance. The Sales Manager will be a hands-on person able to analyse the market, develop strategies and create / develop new customers.
The important area she/he will manage as well as the non-transparent market she/he will need to manage, will require intensive travelling across the region as well as to the Italian headquarter of the Company, and the flexibility to distance-work with colleagues of different Countries.
The candidate has a proven experience in managing the above described customers, generating / starting new customers, managing several brands / segments, training customers and sales team as well as coordinating the activities of merchandising and collection of orders. She / he will interact directly with the key function of the Company (Production, Marketing, Technical dept.) to support customers and develop sales through various distribution channels.
The ideal candidate has:
she/he matured minimum 3 years’ experience in managing key accounts, working preferably in the plumbing and heating market, bearing the responsibility;
The ability of managing P&L and Budget planning will be a plus.
She/he’s acquainted with the logics of the different segments and she/he can interact with interlocutors of different levels.
The ability of collaborating with colleagues in a multicultural environment, according to the most modern logic of the market, complete the profile.
Strong business orientation, autonomy, proactivity, flexibility, analytical, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluency in the English language (written and spoken) is required.
Availability to travel.
